    NTBVC Subtank Ceramic Coils - 0.5ohm 5pk

Posted by Dennis Stanley on 1st Apr 2016

I have used other ceramic coils with great flavor and cloud production,These have very little of both.I bought 2-5packs as I have several kanger sub tanks and was looking forward to using them again.I give kidneypunncher 5 stars for the fast delivery but a 1 star on this coil. These coils had little flavor and cloud production from 30w-50w even burnt my throat. I primed them used them trying to give them the benefit of doubt, sorry I think its a no go here.

The draw, The hit, The taste and Temp

Posted by jason vasquez on 23rd Mar 2016

Primed easily too, absolutely no foul taste from the beginning very consistent temp using a kanger Nebox they work from between 40-50w to conserve power, people talk about the delay they're ever so slightly slower to heat up but no worry they are awesome when you are chain Vaping a bit, it's only a concern if you only hit once every 10-15 min apart....

Flavors really pop too!.... I use 80/20 70/30 juices and there is no leak or slurp also seems to not burn through juice as fast as the oscc Clapton coils too....

I will tell you I'm picky and if you are too get them they are worth every penny

    Thanks KP

Best for flavor hogs and cloud chasers.

Killer coils. I'm running them at 50w-60w in my Kanger Subtank Mini, which is sitting on an iStick TC100W and they work incredibly well. I've been vaping for five or six years now and this is the most flavor output I've ever experienced. It easily beats dripper attys in both flavor and vapor output.

    Great coils

I tried them at 54 degrees - much better - they get hot much faster and I dont feel the delay - and they taste amazing!

Glad to have the option of ceramic coils

Posted by Toni on 10th Feb 2016

I must admit - when I first took a hit from my mod with these coils I was amazed! The flavor is so much more vibrant. I'm a recent convertor to vaping and my tastebuds still arent that great - so I dont usually notice subtle differences in taste, this wasnt a subtle difference, it was amazing.
BUT there is a drawback, there is a definite delay when you press your button until vapor actually comes out, so I would press it as I was bringing it up to my mouth and by the time it got there it would be producing, but this got very annoying. And it didnt get as warm as kanthal coils, and I like heat. By the end of the tank, I had decided I didnt really like the coil and kanthal or nickel were better. The delay and heat really made a difference.

    KP Response:
Normally, VOCC Subtank coils (the square ones) we recommend running at 40 to 45 watts. These ceramic Subtank coils need to run at 50 to 55 watts to produce the same amount of heat as the VOCC coils. The upside being more flavor and also they should last a few days longer than the VOCC.
