Nichrome: takes kind of an advanced builder, because it "shorts" on itself like between wraps and gets slightly hotter right there, resulting in a sort of metallic taste. which wasn't kindeys problem :) .I found that if your wraps arent touching it heats more consistent and tastes better. With the same build I drop almost .05 ohms versus kanthal. Dope! -
