Note: Please be extra careful when handling the 20,21,22,23,24,25,26 and 27 ga. wires. Because of their size, there can be some residual tension and the wire can spring off the spool very quickly.

The wire is easy to work and has not given me any problems kidney puncher has the best price and the biggest spool I think it would be great if they would put a hole in the spool to hold the wire from unraveling

Great price on kanthal
The spools are annoying because there is no way to trap the wire, but other than that it's great. Cheap, quality kanthal wire.

It's kanthal, nothing too fancy. All sizes I've tried from kp have worked as well as anything.
Pros - Quality product, great price, fast shipping,
Cons - Spools are quite large compared to other brands, and there is nothing on them to hold the wire in place once you start the spool. Had to cut a notch into the plastic with a Dremel on all the spools I've ordered.
Conclusion - Basically the best bang for your buck as far as kanthal goes. If the spools had a simple notch to hold the kanthal and keep it from unwinding itself, I would have rated it 5 stars. -

Alot cheaper than I've bought locally and doesn't seem to burn up like it either.
Like the large spool, less chance of it unwinding on you and comes out nearly straight. -
24g Kansas vs. 28g kanthal
24 for me is the perfect wire, it doesn't get too hot and it produces about of vapor with every build I've done so far. It's very durable where as the 28 and smaller gauges are to brittle they break under pressure when I'm using pliers to hold and twist two strands together.
