.8mm x .1mm = 6.085 Ohms per foot = between 28g and 29g Kanthal A-1

Comes off flat, zero kinks
I am able to use 100% of this wire, none of it gets wasted. It comes off the spool perfectly, and it never kinks up. I can measure pieces and cut them and waste no wire.

Don't have alot if experience with ribbon. It comes off fkat tho, and I know there kanthal is some of the cleanest wire you can get on market today.

very nice wire , however the only problem i had was it was not properly put together so i wasted quite a few trying to put it together . love how the ribbon comes flat of the reel that's very nice

No Straightening Needed
I've been purchasing my kanthal ribbon wire from TEMCo Industrial but wanted to give Kidney Puncher a try, despite TEMCo's lower price tag. I purchased the 100 ft. spool and, true to Squidoode's claim, it comes off straight! If I'm not mistaken, the quality is also superior. Definitely my money's worth. Highly recommended. I'll definitely be purchasing more wire from Kidney Puncher in the future.
